Practitioner of manual techniques for relief and harmony
body-soul-spirit

Who am I?

Hello everyone!

My name is Joëlle Forestier.
I’m Swiss, married to the man of my life and the mother of two adorable children.
I grew up in Switzerland, where I trained as a commercial employee before working for many years as an executive assistant in various companies.

In 2003, my life took a decisive turn when I started school to become a “masseur-reflexologist”.
My studies, which lasted three years, included several courses:

  • Energy massages: Massage techniques designed to balance and harmonize the body’s energy, using specific movements, pressure and sometimes tools to stimulate energy points and meridians.
  • Reflexology: The practice of applying pressure to specific points on the feet, corresponding to different parts of the body, to stimulate the body’s natural healing capacities.
  • Energy care – Magnetism: Using the hands to channel and direct energy to restore energy balance, relieve pain and promote well-being.
  • Gestalt: A holistic approach to the individual that takes into account the 5 dimensions of being: physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual.
Sometimes considered an “existential philosophy”, it is based on learning the “here and now”.
  • Five elements (water, air, earth, fire and ether): Fundamental concepts representing the different forces or essences that make up the universe and nature.

Of course, there were also all the more theoretical aspects, such as anatomy, conducting a treatment session, terrain analysis and so on.

In 2004, I trained as an infant massage instructor, where I learned to teach parents and caregivers how to massage their babies to promote parent-child bonding, relaxation and overall infant well-being.

From 2005 to 2006, I trained in manual lymphatic drainage according to the method of Dr..
E. Vodder’s method.
This gentle massage technique stimulates the circulation of lymph throughout the body, promoting detoxification and improving the function of the lymphatic system.

From there, I opened my own practice in Lausanne (Switzerland) and then, in 2007, moved to Neuchâtel (Switzerland) where I opened another practice.

In 2021, my life changed again.
With my husband and our children, we embarked on a year-long road trip through North and Central America.
Following this adventure, we decided to settle in Panama.

In 2022, I became interested in vibrations and trained in tuning fork sonotherapy.
This practice uses the vibrations and sounds produced by tuning forks tuned to specific frequencies to balance energy, reduce stress and promote physical, emotional and mental well-being.

In 2023, I continued my training with the Knap point technique (a method using pressure on specific points on the body to relieve pain and improve mobility) and in 2024 with the Dorn method (a gentle approach to manual readjustment of the spine and joints to correct misalignments and improve posture and body function).

All these training courses have been crowned with a diploma.

Following tuning fork sonotherapy, I became interested in tools such as the Healy device and Quantum Lifestyle, relaxation, holistic support and energy-balancing devices that use frequencies and vibrations to restore the body’s natural balance, promoting harmony and well-being.

In the meantime, I have deepened my knowledge thanks to various readings and non-certifying but very enriching courses.
For example:

  • Various further training courses in energetics (Luc Bodin, Isis, allergy treatment)
  • Mediumship: Communication with deceased people, providing evidence of this connection.
This evidence confirms that we are in touch with the spiritual world, and not a figment of our imagination or a projection of our mind.
  • Lithotherapy: Use of stones and crystals to promote physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
  • Pendulum: Practice using an object suspended by a chain or thread to obtain answers to questions or detect subtle energies.
  • NERTI method (Rapid Emotional Cleansing of Unconscious Disturbances): An approach aimed at rapidly eliminating emotional reactions and unconscious blockages.
  • Life decoding and Psychogenealogy: Exploring the influences of family experiences and past events on a person’s present life.
  • Guided meditation: A meditation practice in which a person is led through specific steps to reach a state of deep relaxation, concentration or visualization.

These courses have enabled me to expand and perfect my knowledge, giving me additional tools to provide care adapted to your needs and my feelings.

Today, although I don’t use all the techniques I’ve acquired, I can include them in a treatment as an additional tool if I feel they are needed.

On the services page, you’ll find the treatments I offer in my Jo-Well Center.
I hope you enjoy reading and look forward to your call or email to make an appointment!

See you soon!

Joëlle
